Alexander Ballinger

Alexander’s versatility shines in the studio. Alexander is a bi-lingual German/Russian actor based in London. Born in Russia and having grown up in Germany, his pursuit of a career in acting eventually led him to London at the age of twenty, where he has been living ever since.

He graduated from LCM and has worked at the National Theatre, in the West End and at the Royal Opera House and with directors such as Christof Loy and Sam Mendes. He is also an experienced voice-over actor and was lucky enough to work on a variety of projects covering audio books, ADR, dubbing, audio dramas, corporate and educational work as well as commercials.
His ability to speak both Russian and German to a native standard, as well as his fluent English with a neutral accent, helped him to build his career across all three languages. Being an actor, he particularly enjoys creating vocally diverse characters and his versatility allows him to cover a range of styles – from energetic and youthful to soothing, smooth and mature. His reliability and desire to always deliver his best work continue to let clients entrust him with their projects.
